Surrender: Into Your Hands

Mar 29, 2026    Mark Cress

Darkness falls as Jesus hangs on the cross, and in His final moments, He doesn’t lose control—He releases it. With the words, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit” (Luke 23:46), Jesus shows that surrender is not defeat but deliberate trust in the goodness and authority of God. Even in suffering, He entrusts what matters most—His very life—into the Father’s hands. The message is clear: real peace isn’t found in gripping control tighter, but in confidently placing our lives in the hands of a trustworthy God.
