When Babylon Says Bow
Jun 21, 2026 • Mark Cress
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced a choice that every believer eventually faces: bow to the pressures of the world or stand firm in faith, even at great personal cost. Their response to Nebuchadnezzar captured three layers of trust in God. He is able, He will deliver, and even if He does not, we will not bow. Biblical courage is not believing God will always rescue you from difficulty. It is obeying Him even when the outcome is uncertain. God did not remove the furnace. He walked into it with them. The only things the fire destroyed were the ropes that bound them.
